The ARCA Midwest Tour released a 2019 schedule on Wednesday that features 10 stops for the ‘Stars and Cars’ at eight different facilities across Wisconsin and Illinois.
The season will begin with a bang with the $10,000-to-win Joe Shear Classic at Madison International Speedway on May 5.
The most notable addition to the traditional stops on the tour is a return to the Milwaukee Mile on Sunday, June 16. This is the first Stock Car race of any kind at ‘America’s Legendary Oval’ since 2014. Joining the Midwest Tour that weekend will be the Midwest Trucks, Mid-American Stock Cars and Upper Midwest Vintage Series.
OTHER TOURING SCHEDULES: CARS Tour | CRA Super Series | TUNDRA SLMs | PASS North & National | NASCAR Modified Tour | Pretoria Race Alliance Super Series
The other marquee races on the tour all take place during the autumn months, beginning with the $10,000-to-win Dixieland 250 at Wisconsin International Raceway. The Howie Llettow Classic 100 will move to Madison International Speedway on August 16.
The 50th annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend will crown the 2019 ARCA Midwest Tour Champion with the 2019 iteration taking place on October 6 at LaCrosse International. Dalton Zehr was crowned the seventh all-time series champion last fall.
