The Pro All Stars Series schedule is out and it includes a notable concession.
There will no longer be a PASS South division as the sanctioning body will focus just on the original northern tour and national championship in 2019. That leaves just the CARS Tour as the only sanctioning body in the Carolinas and Virginias, albeit one that scaled back itself in 2018.
That region remains primarily the home of Late Model Stock racing.
Meanwhile, PASS is once again highlighted by the prestigious Oxford 250, which pays $25,000-to-win and attracted 55 Super Late Models in August.
As was revealed on Friday morning, PASS will give the Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway a second shot on March 30 with the Super Late Models, Tour Type Modifieds and several other divisions.
The national championship continues to have a good mix of north and south as it includes races at Dillon Motor Speedway in South Carolina, Richmond, Hickory Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Oxford Plains Speedway and Seekonk Speedway.
The PASS North championship includes stops at Oxford, Star Speedway, Speedway 51, Thunder Road, the aforementioned race at New Hampshire, White Mountain Motorsports Park, Spud Speedway and Seekonk.
