Domination was the name of the game at Flamboro Speedway.
The Pinty’s Fan Cave Challenge brought the NASCAR Pinty’s Series to a new track, and Jason Hathaway and Kevin Lacroix remained the front runners – splitting the twin 125-lap races.
Hathaway rolled in Pinty’s 125, leading from green to checkered for his second straight win. Lacroix stalked his way from sixth to second but it wasn’t enough to catch the No. 3 Kubota/Choko/Kugel Bearings Chevrolet.

Hathaway’s teammate Brett Taylor rounded out the podium, with Alex Tagliani and D.J. Kennington filling out the top-five.
Once the field was shaken up for the PartyCasino 125, Lacroix’s luck finally turned.
After drawing a second starting position, the No. 74 Bumper to Bumper/Total/Gates Dodge jumped to the lead and never looked back, even with Hathaway breathing down his neck.
Hathaway would come up 2.186 seconds of sweeping both races, as Lacroix scored the third oval win of his career. He led all 125 laps.

In his series return, J.R. Fitzpatrick finished third in the PartyCasino 125, following a finish of sixth after getting spun in the Pinty’s 125.
Kennington finished fourth, with LP Dumoulin in fifth.
After the second of three race weekends, Hathaway leads Lacroix by eight and Kennington by 17.
The Pinty’s FanCave Challenge, a special six-race, three-track series, will conclude Saturday, Sept. 12 at Jukasa Motor Speedway in Hagersville, Ontario.
