Madhouse Classic postponed to later date; NASCAR clash moved to Sunday

The Madhouse Classic, which comprised of invitational feature races for the Bowman Gray Modified and Sportsman divisions, in advance of the NASCAR Cup Series Cookout Clash has been postponed to a later date due to an impending winter storm.

All the Cup Series content has now been scheduled for Sunday.

Purely from a local short track divisions standpoint, the Madhouse Classic will be moved to a different date entirely. That date has yet to be decided and announced with all the focus going to efforts to get the Cup Series main event in on Sunday.

The forecast calls for a snow storm to begin overnight Friday into Saturday and lasting into early Sunday morning. With such dry fluffy snow, the forecast is calling for a range of 3 to 6” of the wintry precipitation.
