SPEARS CARS Tour West heads to Northern California on Saturday, Aug. 29, for First Responders Night at All American Speedway, where championship battles, a strong contingent of local competitors and one of the most dominant drivers in Roseville this season will converge for a full night of racing.

The JM Environmental Wild West Shootout will headline a weekend featuring $82,450 in purse money. The 125-lap SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest Pro Late Model feature will pay $7,500 to win, while the SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Models will compete for $4,000 to win in a 100-lap feature. The Frank’s Radio Legend Cars will race for $1,000 to win in Saturday’s 30-lap main event.

The SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest Pro Late Model championship battle continues at All American Speedway with Kyle Keller and Robby Sawyer separated by just 10 points entering Saturday’s race.

Keelan Harvick currently sits atop the standings with 228 points, five ahead of Keller, but Harvick is not competing at All American this weekend. Keller enters Roseville with 223 points, while Sawyer follows with 213 as the two continue their pursuit of the 2026 championship.

Keller has been one of the division’s most consistent drivers this season, while Jaron Giannini enters Roseville coming off a runner-up finish to Kevin Harvick at Colorado National Speedway.

The championship contenders will also face a strong Northern California presence at All American. Vito Cancilla, Eric Schmidt, John Moore and Cole Moore are among the local standouts entered, along with several Modesto-area drivers. Cancilla returns as the track’s 2023 Late Model champion.

The Limited Late Model field brings an equally compelling championship battle to Roseville, but championship leader Kenna Mitchell will be racing on familiar ground.

The Loomis, California, driver enters the weekend with a 26-point lead over Christian Bazen after finishing in the top five in each of the first five SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Model races this season. Mitchell earned her first career SPEARS CARS Tour West victory at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in March.

At All American, Mitchell has been perfect.

The two-time defending track champion is 10-for-10 in Late Model competition at the speedway this season, giving her an undefeated record at her home track entering Saturday’s 100-lap Limited Late Model feature.

Mitchell will face a 27-car field that includes three-time winner Jeffrey Peterson, Stockton winner Jay Juleson and championship contenders Bazen, Skyler Schoppe, Brenden Ruzbarsky and Tanner Huddleston. The top five drivers in the championship standings are all entered.

The field also brings considerable All American experience. Kylie Glick won the track’s Late Model championship in 2024, while Dylan Zampa, the 2022 All American champion and 2025 SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Model champion, will return to Roseville as part of a Limited Late Model field filled with Northern California competitors.

CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE

Keelan Harvick currently leads the SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest Pro Late Model standings with 228 points, five ahead of Keller, but will not compete at All American. Keller and Sawyer, who are pursuing the 2026 championship, enter Saturday separated by just 10 points, with Keller holding 223 points to Sawyer’s 213.

KELLER’S CONSISTENCY

Keller has finished inside the top 10 in each of the first six SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest Pro Late Model races this season, with an average finish of 6.0. The Las Vegas, Nevada, driver has three top-five finishes, highlighted by his first career SPEARS CARS Tour West victory at Stockton 99 Speedway in April.

GIANNINI ON THE MOVE

Giannini enters All American with three top-five finishes in five starts and has led 181 laps this season. He is coming off a runner-up finish at Colorado National Speedway, where he battled Kevin Harvick for the victory in the closing laps.

HOME-TRACK EXPERIENCE

A strong Northern California contingent will take on the SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest regulars Saturday. The preliminary entry list includes Cancilla of Martinez; Schmidt, John Moore and Cole Moore of Roseville; and several drivers from Modesto, including Hans Beeler, Adam Coonfield, Mike Beeler and Kyle Gottula.

FORMER ALL AMERICAN CHAMPION

Cancilla returns to All American Speedway as the track’s 2023 Jr. Late Model champion. Cancilla has made two SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest Pro Late Model starts this season and finished in the top five in both, recording finishes of fourth at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and fifth at Stockton 99 Speedway.

THREE DRIVERS, SIX WINS: 

Keelan Harvick, Kevin Harvick and Keller have accounted for all six SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest Pro Late Model victories this season. Keelan Harvick leads with three victories, Kevin Harvick has two and Keller has one.

HOME SWEET HOME

Mitchell enters All American leading the SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Model standings by 26 points over Bazen. She has finished inside the top five in all five races this season with an average finish of 2.3, including her first career SPEARS CARS Tour West victory at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in March. Mitchell is also 10-for-10 in Late Model competition at All American this season. 

PETERSON PERFECT

Jeffrey Peterson has been perfect in his three SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Model starts this season. The Grand Terrace, California, driver has won all three races he has entered, leading 203 laps. Peterson swept both races at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and led flag-to-flag in the division’s most recent event at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in May.

CHAMPIONS AT HOME

The Limited Late Model field features several drivers with championship credentials at All American. Mitchell is the defending track champion, while Kylie Glick claimed the Jr. Late Model championship in 2024. Dylan Zampa, the 2022 All American champion and 2025 SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Model champion, is also entered in Saturday’s 100-lap feature.

CHAMPIONSHIP PACK

The top five drivers in the SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Model standings are all entered Saturday at All American. Mitchell holds a 26-point lead over Bazen, with Schoppe, Ruzbarsky and Huddleston rounding out the top five.

FIVE RACES, THREE WINNERS

Peterson has claimed three of the first five Limited Late Model races this season. Mitchell earned her first career SPEARS CARS Tour West victory at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway, while Juleson scored his first SPEARS CARS Tour West Limited Late Model victory at Stockton 99 Speedway.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CONTINGENT

Saturday’s 27-car Limited Late Model field features a large contingent of Northern California drivers. Mitchell, Vito Cancilla, Glick, Zampa, Joey Kennealy, Bella Thomsen, Juleson, Ethan Nascimento, Aaron Coonfield, Colton Nelson and Ruzbarsky are among the entries from Northern California communities.
