Kevin Lacroix logged the fastest lap time during NASCAR Pinty’s Series practice for the LUXXUR 300 at Edmonton International Raceway.
Lacroix’s No.74 Bumper to Bumper Dodge set a time of 12.953 seconds (69.482mph) around the quarter-mile bullring to take top spot after the rain extended session. The Saint-Eustache, Quebec driver was the only driver to log a lap time under 13 seconds.
“As we expected, we are still fast here,” Lacroix said. “We just have to make a slight adjustment from old tires to new tires, but we’re where we need to be. We’re looking forward to the race in better weather.”

D.J Kennington was second with a time of 13.011/96.172.
Kennington moves into Edmonton fresh off a runner-up finish in Race 2 in
Saskatoon. Points leader Andrew Ranger was third quick after the session with a
time of 13.068/68.871, Ranger will look for his second win at Edmonton.
Anthony Simone and LP Dumoulin rounded out the top five.
Alex Labbe and Donald Theetge were sixth and seventh respectively. While Marc-Antoine Camirand, Brett Taylor and Mark Dilley completed the top ten.

Qualifying for the LUXXUR 300 will get underway at 6:05 p.m. ET with the green flag scheduled to drop at 7:30 p.m. approx. Fans can tune into a special walk & talk hosted by Todd Lewis on Fanschoice.tv at 6:15 ET.
The race airs at 9:30 ET on FansChoice in the United States and the TSN app in Canada.
