Three races remain in the 2026 UARA Sportsman season, with Auburndale Speedway playing host for the first of two of those dates on the calendar this Saturday, September 12th.
Tim Sozio still leads the championship, but lost part of his advantage over his competitors after a late-race crash with Bobby Mobley in Mobile earlier this year, ending his night in Alabama prematurely.
This became an opportunity for Brandon Morris, as the pilot of the No. 56 seized the night to win his second consecutive race and third of the year. Morris’ stout performances have now brought him to third in the standings, only 16 markers away from Sozio.
Dylan Bigley is the only one separating the aforementioned Sozio and Morris, behind the lead of the championship by just six points after strong runs in Citrus and Mobile, capturing back-to-back top five results, staying firmly in the battle to be crowned champion.
James Seeright has fallen to fourth after Mobile, with Adam Briggs stagnant in fifth. However, the top five have only come closer with the gap from Sozio to Briggs at only 36 tallies.
