There will be a shortened version of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in 2020.
The national stock car touring division of Canada will compete at three Ontario short tracks over the next five weeks in the form of same day 125-lap doubleheaders at each venue.

Due to the shortened nature of the schedule, there will be no officially recognized series champion or rookie of the year award recipient. There will, however, be a special recognition for the driver who scores the most points over the six-race campaign.
Drivers will earn points based on the same scale traditionally used.
Fans will not be permitted for any of the 2020 events with races scheduled to air delayed on TSN or RDS in Canada and MAVTV in the United States. There was no official confirmation of live stream options at press time.
“While we are disappointed that we are unable to run our intended schedule in front of fans, we’re looking forward to the return of racing in Canada,” said Chad Seigler, NASCAR vice president of international business development and partnerships. “I want to thank our friends at Pinty’s for helping us get back on the racetrack. We are working closely with local and provincial officials and our teams and drivers to put on safe events that are respectful of new regulations from the ongoing pandemic.”
Flamboro Speedway will be hosting the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for the first time. The series ran at Sunset Speedway in 2015 and 2016, both races won by Alex Tagliani. Jukasa Speedway was previously scheduled to hold two Pinty’s Series races this season.

45 years a fan of Flamboro Speedway racing and I’m not gonna be able to watch Canada’s best at “Slamboro ” …..Damn Covid .
