The first entry list for the Canadian Short Track Nationals Pro Late Model race at Jukasa Motor Speedway in Cayuga, Ontario was revealed on Monday and it’s full of quality and quantity.
There are 53 drivers already entered, most of them from Canada and including several stars from the NASCAR Pinty’s Series. While several American superstars are expected to enter in the coming weeks, the first entry list revealed two-time Daytona 500 winner Sterling Marlin and CRA Super Series regular Brian Campbell — winner of last month’s Money in the Bank 150 at Berlin Raceway.
The race will take place on September 1 and 2 and will pay the equivalent of $38,000 to win and $1,520 to start in U.S. currency.
On the Pinty’s Series front, current championship leader DJ Kennington has entered and will be joined by occasional participants JR Fitzpatrick and Jason Hathaway.
Over the weekend at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, both Bubba Pollard and Casey Roderick expressed an interest in making the trip up north as well.
