PENSACOLA, FL – Mother Nature has won the Thursday portion of the 58th annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway. Despite numerous efforts by track staff to dry the track, all Snowball Derby and Snowflake 125 on track action has been called off for the day.
Rain began overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, continuing periodically throughout the morning and into the afternoon. Track officials have deemed it best for all involved to call Thursday’s portion of on track action for Super and Pro Late Models, with a decision regarding Pro Truck, Sportsman and Pure Stock action to come at 3:00 p.m. CT.
A revised Friday on track schedule will also be announced at that time.
