The other championship Kaden Honeycutt is chasing in 2026

In addition to the full NASCAR Truck Series schedule with Tricon Garage, 25 races from Daytona to Homestead, Kaden Honeycutt says he has 46 races currently scheduled overall.

Translation: Expect to see him behind the wheel of the Jett Motorsports with Larry Blount Motorsports No. 21 Super Late Model he won the 2024 Snowball Derby in, the Tom Usry No. 17 in Late Model Stock and AROB Performance Pro Late Model.

“Yeah, 46 races,” Honeycutt said. “Alex Roberts Pro Car quite a bit this year. I’m grateful that Jimmy Cox and them are going to let me race some Tour races and the Snowflake, maybe seven or so races with Tom Usry and Kenneth Packer, depending on how the year goes.

“We’ve got Matthew Laprade in our Late Model and looking forward to the 17 races he’s going to run. I’ll add on two or three Super races, the same deal we’ve had the last couple of years with Larry Blunt.”

But that’s not even the most interesting and novel part of his 2026 schedule. Somehow, in the middle of all that, Honeycutt is also going to race for the Modifieds of Mayhem championship on the Gulf Coast.

“Somehow, between the Truck Series and all the Late Model stuff, I have seven open days to chase the championship in the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour,” Honeycutt said. “I think me, John Heil and car owner Rick Pollaro are going to go run the tour.

“I love those cars and it’s going to be a lot of fun. So we got a bunch of stuff mixed up, but so far right now I think there’s 40 to 45 races that we currently have planned to do.”

Honeycutt is the defending winner of the season finale, the biggest race of the year, which takes place at the Snowball Derby every year.
