Chase Dowling wins pole for Starrett 150

Chase Dowling came just .014 short of his first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory at Loudon, losing out to Bobby Santos in a last-lap thriller. Tonight, he will be have another great opportunity to get that elusive win.

Dowling, currently second in the points standings, will sit on the pole for the second time at Stafford Motor Speedway this season, running a fast time of 18.267 seconds.

Starting second will be Rowan Pennink, driving the Ole Blue No. 3. Behind the front two will be four-time defending champion Doug Coby, points leader Justin Bonsignore, and Myrtle Beach winner Jon McKennedy.

Rounding out the top-10 are Rob Summers, 2017 Fall Final winner Eric Goodale, Ron Silk, Timmy Solomito, and Loudon winner Santos.
