PELETIER, NC – Persistent rainfall has forced Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway to postpone the second installment of the Solid Rock Carriers 150 to Sunday, August 11th with a 2pm start time.
The track made numerous efforts to wait out the rain, but the rainfall remained steady and persistent all through the afternoon hours. As the rainfall continued into the evening hours, track owner Bob Lowery made the decision to race on Sunday with a field of 15 Limited Late Models and 27 Legends ready to go racing at 2pm on Sunday.
Pit gates will open at 12pm, tires will be released at 12:30pm, qualifying will commence at 1pm, and the green flag is set to fly at 2pm on the second running of the Solid Rock Carriers 150.
