An unfavorable forecast for Saturday has forced all on-track activity for the Old North State Nationals at Orange County Speedway to be moved from Saturday to Sunday.

Qualifying for the 200-lap Late Model Stock feature will now be set solely on single-car qualifying speeds, as the four heat races and last chance qualifier have been scrapped from the updated schedule.

The amount of practices for the CARS Late Model Stock Tour along with the Carolina Pro Late Model and Crate Modified Series have also been reduced. Each division will only get one session.

A time limit has been implemented for the Pro Late Model and Crate Modified Series in order to finish the day’s festivities before 7:15 p.m..

The Crate Modifieds will compete first and last for either 50 laps or 30 minutes while the Pro Late Models will round out Sunday’s action with a 75-lap feature that will be limited to 45 minutes.

Pre-race ceremonies for the Old North State Nationals are set to begin at 3:45 p.m., with the green flag flying for the 200-lap feature at 4 p.m..
