Connor Hall returns home to Langley this Saturday night

Connor Hall will return home to Langley Speedway this Saturday night to compete in the track’s twin 50-lap Late Model Stock features. Hall, a two-time NASCAR National Weekly Series champion, has not competed in a Late Model Stock since the South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway last fall.

Hall now competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Niece Motorsports and, when he’s not behind the wheel, he stays busy working in the shop. Most recently, Hall served as crew chief for Matt Gould in the CARS Tour race at Caraway Speedway two weeks ago.

This weekend, Hall returns to competition in his familiar blue No. 77 for his family-owned team.

“I’ve always enjoyed coming to Langley with our personal car on some of our off weekends,” said Hall. “It always gives me a chance to verify how our stuff is performance-wise so that I can apply it elsewhere whenever we race.

“It’s always a great time racing in front of my home crowd.”

In 2023, Hall won the track championship at Langley Speedway before returning to full-time CARS Tour competition in 2024 with Nelson Motorsports. Hall then moved to JR Motorsports for the 2025 season, where he captured the Virginia Triple Crown.

Hall is a Late Model racer at his core. A return to his roots in the family-owned car always felt inevitable — the only question was when and where the opportunity would come.

“We wanna prep for the Triple Crown,” said Hall. “It’s a good opportunity to learn what I’ve been missing by racing elsewhere and not in the No. 77.

“I’d like to run as much as we can, as long as we’re having fun.”

Fans can watch Hall’s return to Langley Speedway this Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on FloRacing.
