Ty Majeski added the Money in the Bank 150 to his ever expanding Super Late Model resume on Wednesday night at Berlin Raceway.
“This one coming across the line, I haven’t felt this way in a while”, Majeski said. “This is a tough race track, forces you to step outside of your comfort zone from a race car standpoint and as a driver. I love the challenge and the discipline it takes to get around here.”
“It took us five tries, but we finally conquered it tonight.”
Carson Hocevar and Brian Campbell were amongst the other contenders to have led the race early.
A pair of cautions would come out within the first 60 laps, one for a Bubba Pollard battery issue and a Ken Wobma spin before a rain delay for the next three hours.
Once the red was lifted and racing resumed, Majeski moved forward.
Majeski would pit with Hocevar after a caution with just under 70 laps to go, and mount a charge to the front on the restart.

Majeski would pass both Hocevar and Andrew Scheid battling for second with just under 50 laps left.
Hocevar ultimately spun Scheid into Turn 4. Hocevar was sent to the rear and chose to park his car. Scheid would confront Hocevar after the race and exchange words on the incident.

While the final laps ticked away, Majeski showed more speed as the tires were falling off and would drive away from Brian Campbell.
“We’ve been having tire issues all weekend with our right fronts coming apart,” Majeski said. “We weren’t good that first part of the race in the daytime. Once we put right sides on, the sun went down, and my right front held up a lot better. We were able to show the race car we had. We stayed the course.”
Campbell had an exceptional and consistent performance throughout, but came up just short to Majeski. He expressed positive thoughts on his second-place result.
“Messing around with Carson [Hocevar] there was fun. I got to talk to him at the rain break, and it was pretty good,” Campbell stated. “Second place to Ty and Ty does this for a living, so we’re okay. Car was good, car was in one piece. We could go back and make it faster. We don’t have to fix anything, so yeah, pretty happy.”
