Kevin Harvick has added the Wenatchee 200 to his Super Late Model slate in 2026.
Now under the CARS Tour West banner, one of the marquee short track races of Pacific Northwest pays $25,000-to-win with a $2000 starting payout to those making the trek to the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval in Washington.
“I’m looking forward to being part of this year’s Wenatchee 200,” said Harvick in a press release. “It’s a marquee event for our CARS Tour West Super Late Models and will be my first time racing there. The fan support, racing talent, and quality promotion make it a standout event on the schedule.”
The race is scheduled for May 30, after Harvick has completed the FOX Sports portion of the Cup Series broadcast schedule, and is also where the 2014 champion starts to pick back up his short track hobby for the summer and fall.
In addition to his co-ownership of the CARS Tour with Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jeff Burton and Justin Marks, Harvick operates an ever expanding CARS Tour West schedule with west coast promoter Tim Huddleston.
His appearance at the Wenatchee 200 is a huge win for the track and a region that scantly sees NASCAR stars as well.
“This is huge for our fans, our drivers, and our community,” said Jeremy Anders, General Manager of Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval. “Having a driver of Kevin Harvick’s caliber choose to race the Wenatchee 200 validates what we’ve been building here. With $25,000 to win and $2,000 to start, this race is truly becoming a must-run event for teams across the country.”
As part of the appearance, Harvick and the track are also offering an ‘exclusive Kevin Harvick VIP Ticket Package,’ which includes tickets to the race, ‘an exclusive pre-race meet-and-greet with Kevin Harvick, food and drinks, and a swag bag.’
