Entry forms released for CRA Speedfest at Watermelon Capital Speedway

The Champion Racing Association released the entry forms for SpeedFest 2019 at Crisp Motorsports Park on Wednesday.

The prestigious pre-season event featuring Super Late Models and Pro Late Models will be held on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26, with Sunday January 27 as the event’s rain date.

This will be the eighth consecutive year that SpeedFest has been held at Crisp Motorsports Park’s Watermelon Capital Speedway located in Cordele, Georgia.

The events schedule was changed last year to a Friday and Saturday format leading up to the event when rain was forecast for Sunday. The new format was enjoyed so much that the same format will be used for CRA SpeedFest 2019.

The event will be headlined by a 200 lap Super Late Model event and a 125 lap Pro Late Model showdown. The event will continue to pay the increased purses introduced last year, with the Supers paying $10,000 to win and the Pros $5,000 to win along with several bonuses for both series.

The 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series event will once again feature Controlled Cautions.

Previous winners of the race include Charlie Menard, Mike Fritts , Eddie Hoffman, Jeff Choquette, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott, Bubba Pollard, Harrison Burton and Chandler Smith.

The entry form can be found here.
