The Stars and Cars of the 2025 CARS Pro Late Model Tour

Scotte Sprinkle

CARS Tour is back.

The CARS Pro Late Model Tour had its first season in 2022 and has since become a staple along side the Late Model Stock Tour as. For 2025, the series will compete alongside the Late Model Stocks exclusively for the first time, running 13 out of 15 weeks, with only Wake County and Langley not featuring the Pro Late Models.

At present time, it’s difficult to determine who will ultimately race full-time. Sometimes, a team gets off to a good start and decides to chase points. Other times, a team states an intent to race full-time and then a bad start encourages them to take races off.

So instead, the below post will detail some of the main characters on the CARS Tour even if it’s not clear if they will be championship contenders this season.

Brandon Lopez | Bryson Lopez Racing

Brandon Lopez will be back with his team and competing full-time for 2025. He scored three top-ten finishes last year and finished the season 10th in points running 12 out of the 13 races. Lopez also competed at the New Smyrna World Series this year.

Brody Monahan | Bryson Lopez Racing

Bordy Monahan will be joining Brandon full-time at Bryson Lopez Racing for the season driving the #31. Monahan got off to a strong start with the team at New Smyrna for Speedweeks, winning on night 6 and finishing runner-up in the championship.

Tyler Reif | Bryson Lopez Racing

Bryson Lopez Racing will be expanding in 2025 to include a part-time campaign for Tyler Reif in the #47. Reif has three ARCA West wins, including a combination race with the ARCA National Series at Phoenix in 2023. He will also make ARCA East, West, and National starts in 2025 alongside his select Pro Late Model starts.

Ben Maier | Setzer Racing and Development

Ben Maier joined Setzer Racing and Development to race full-time in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour season this year, replacing Tristan McKee. McKee took the #6 to victory lane twice last year and Maier has already scored his first win with the team in his first Pro race, winning during Speedfest at Cordele Motor Speedway.

Tristan McKee | Tristan McKee Inc.

Speaking of Tristan McKee, the three-time CARS Pro Late Model Tour winner will continue to make select starts this year. The 14 year old recently inked a deal with Spire Motorsports as a developmental driver and will spend most of his time in a Late Model Stock for Matt Piercy Racing, but will still be chasing checkered flags in his Pro.

Keelan Harvick | Rackley W.A.R.

One of the fastest growing drivers with one of the top teams. Son of NASCAR Legend Kevin Harvick, Keelan has grown at an exponential rate. He earned a top 10 in his Limited Late Model debut at Florence during South Carolina 400 week, and will race his old man some as well this year. Rackley W.A.R. and Kevin Harvick Inc. entered a partnership late last year and will field Keelan in a multiple divisions this year, including the CARS Tour Pro series on a part time basis.

Isaac Kitzmiller | Rackley W.A.R.

Another second generation driver will also be with Rackley W.A.R. this year. 15 year old Isaac Kitzmiller, son of ARCA veteran Jason Kitzmiller, will also race on a part-time basis in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour. He finished fifth in the New Smyrna World Series with the team and raced at Speedfest in the Pro Late Model as well.

Joshua Horniman | J-Dog Motorsports

Joshua Horniman has been a fixture in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour since 2022. He has back to back top 10 points finishes the past two years and earned three top tens in 2024, all with his family team. Horniman and team is still searching for sponsorship for this season, but plans to attempt the full season if possible.

Jade Avedisian | Wilson Motorsports

Jade Avedisian has many people keeping an eye on her this year. The Toyota Racing Development driver joined Wilson Motorsports for 20 races this year and will race part-time in the CARS Pro Late Model Tour. Her tenure with Wilson started at the New Smyrna World Series where she earned a fourth place points finish.

Logan Jones | Conner Jones Racing

The cousin of Late Model fixture and CARS Late Model Stock Tour driver Conner Jones, Logan will be racing the family team number 44 Pro Late Model in the CARS Tour this year. Jones finished fourth in the points standings in 2023, and raced part-time last year with one of the starts being in the Conner Jones Racing machine at the season finale at North Wilkesboro.
