Following time trials and a series of heat races, the stage has been set for the second running of the Canadian Short Track Nationals at Jukasa Motor Speedway in Ontario.
The 250-lap Pro Late Model race is the richest in pavement racing and includes a winner’s purse of $75,000 CDN.
Multi-time American Canadian Tour champion Eddie McDonald will roll off the pole with defending APC Series champion JR Fitzpatrick starting alongside. Defending winner Bubba Pollard starts fifth.
There will be a five-minute break on Lap 125 for fuel and adjustments. The race will be an eight-tire race — four on the car and four in the pits — with only two new tires being allowed to be bolted on per caution.
Caution laps will count but drivers will not lose a lap for pitting during a caution. Caution laps will count up until 25 laps to go.
