The following is a statement from the Sealed Engine Alliance Leaders:

SEAL committee members met Tuesday for their monthly meeting, where the agenda was mainly focused on continuing their discussions, and finalizing the rules and guidelines for the engine packages for the 2027 season.
The group led their discussions with clarification items for the existing rules packages, shared more information they had gathered since the previous meetings, reviewed and discussed options for 2027 packages, and finally put the proposals to a vote. At the end of the meeting, the group decided to leave the existing 2026 packages unaltered for 2027.
Additionally, the 2027 rules will add in the previously included but, not Nationally detailed, Box Stock Factory Sealed Ford M-6007-D347SR(7). The weight for the Box Stock Ford nationally will be announced in the near future, following important and specific dyno testing.
Committee members noted the importance of getting the 2027 engine rules released as soon as possible and believe this is the earliest they have ever been identified for the following season. While the entire United Late Model Rules Alliance rule book will be released later this year, SEAL leaders were able to meet their goal of getting the important engine decisions made much sooner than the entire rulebook itself.
The committee is working very hard on 2028 and beyond rules and specifications realizing the stability and growth of Late Model pavement racing needs long term affordable solutions.

We run pro lates on the west coast southwest and northwest and were hoping for a weight break on the stock 604
We are getting killed by the modified version especially on the tracks like kern and evergreen but I guess not
I really thought the idea was to help teams save money but now after buying a 604 and sending it to a engine builder you are north of 20-25 thousand and might as well have a hamner very disappointed in cars tour rules for the small teams
