Rogers-Dabbs Challenge returns with five-race slate in 2026

Reid Scott Media

For the third consecutive season, the Rogers-Dabbs Challenge Series is set to return to the Deep South racing scene, featuring a five-race championship slate for the 2026 season. The Pro Late Model mini-series will once again fly under the Southern Pro Series banner in 2026 and kicks off its season in less than two weeks time.

Five Flags Speedway will play host to the season opener just as it did in 2025, with the Friday, May 15 event simultaneously serving as the second Road to the Snowflake event for the Allen Turner Pro Late Models at Five Flags.

From there, the series will make stops at Cordele Motor Speedway on June 20, Mobile International Speedway on July 11 and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Aug. 8. For the third consecutive season, the series will conclude with a stop at Montgomery Motor Speedway on Sept. 19. The September finale is a move up in the calendar for the series finale, as the two previous seasons ended with the Alabama State Championship in October rather than the September Fall Brawl event at Montgomery.

With all five races being included into an already existing date for each venue, the events will also count towards the year long points tally for each individual track.

Similar to the two seasons prior, the series champion will receive a $5,000 top prize, with positions 2-5 in the series standings receiving a payout as well. John Bolen won the 2024 series title, with Dustin Smith claiming the top honors in 2025.
