Florence Motor Speedway has announced their schedule for 2025, setting the dates for some of the biggest REGIONALshort track races, as well as teasing something brand new.

Per usual, The Icebreaker will kick off the season for the track, taking place on February 8th. Following it will be the first race of the 2025 season for the SMART Modified Tour on March 1st. March 22nd will be the date for Spring Fling. Then on April 5th is the Prelude to Darlington. The day before the NASCAR Cup Series’ first trip to Darlington Speedway will once again feature a great night of short track racing, an event that usually draws notable names since NASCAR is in town, including Dale Earnhardt Jr. last year.

April 19th is Easter Eggstravaganza, followed by Double-Day on May 3rd, then Bell & Bell Night May 17th. May 24th will be Memorial Day Showcase. June 7th will see Local Business Night, then Hot Summer Nights on June 28th, and Summer Sizzler on July 19th. Bell & Bell Night of Remembrance will be on August 2nd, then Back To School night on August 16th.

The zMAX CARS Tour will make their annual trip to the track on August 29th for the Cook Out 225, featuring racing for both the Late Model Stocks and the Pro Late Models. Night of Champions will follow on September 13th, then the Pee Dee 225 on October 11th.

November 21st and 22nd will be the South Carolina 400. One of the biggest races of the year in all of Late Model racing will once again be on the weekend before Thanksgiving. The 225 lap main event on Saturday is just a small part of the weekend, seeing races for multiple divisions over two days, as well as plenty of testing for the Late Model’s during the week.

Something interesting that appeared on the schedule release was the “I-95 Showdown” which was listed with The Icebreaker, Summer Sizzler, Pee Dee 225, and the South Carolina 400. No other information is currently available, but this is something to keep an eye on.

Constructive criticism for the track as well as floracing:
    1) Please upgrade the track internet service. The last race was a complete disaster as far as fans watching on floracing. I appreciate the fact that flo is giving me a 20% discount for either their problems or florence motor speedway problems in telacasting the race but fixing the problems would make me happier.

2). Please move the large trucks/trailers from infield before the major race. I have been to the 400 before at Florence and I could not see the backstretch from the stands. The same is true in viewing on flo.

Flo should demand the track upgrade its internet service and infield truck/trailer parking before telacasting another race there
