NASCAR Modified Tour adds Monadnock to 2020 schedule

NASCAR and Monadnock Speedway confirmed on Monday the Whelen Modified Tour will return to the Winchester, New Hampshire quarter mile on Saturday, August 29.

The 2020 season has been continually been shaken up due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The next race on the schedule is Saturday, Aug 1. at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, New Hampshire. The division will also travel back to Jennerstown Speedway in Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Justin Bonsignore won the season opener at Jennerstown on June 21 and again at White Mountain on July 4.

Monadnock has hosted 12 tour races, most recently in 2016 when Timmy Solomito won. Justin Bonsignore (2013-14) and Doug Coby (2015) also won at the track among active NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour drivers.

As with all NASCAR regional touring events, the Monadnock event will air live on the NBC Sports Gold TrackPass subscription service.
