Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced on Thursday that he intends to enter the CARS Late Model Stock Tour race at Tri-County Motor Speedway on October 4 and will do so as part of his partnership with SunDrop.
This will be the first time Earnhardt has raced at the Granite Falls, North Carolina short track and it’s a bucket list moment for him as a result.
This race will also feature a new look for his SunDrop scheme, which has been detailed below. Earnhardt is also entered into the Tour race at Cordele Motor Speedway next weekend.
