The CARS Tour penalty report from North Wilkesboro came out on Tuesday and addressed two items from both series races last week.
The first concerned Mason Diaz, of Chad Bryant Racing, who was placed on probation for the remainder of the season for what the sanctioning body deemed as ‘flagrant rough driving’ during the Window World 125.
Specifically, Diaz was involved in an incident with Jacob Heafner, which elicited strong emotions from the Carroll Speedshop contender.

The series also fined Donnie Wilson Motorsports and driver of the Pro Late Model No. 24, Brent Crews, for what it deemed a violation of rules that effect the ‘fairness of competition and interests of stock car racing and the series.’ Short Track Scene has learned that Crews was found with a significant amount of lead in his water bottle when crossing the scales during pre-race inspection on Wednesday morning at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
