The entry list for the 24th annual North-South Shootout has been revealed.
25 Tour Type Modifieds will be chasing one of the biggest checkered flags of the year this Saturday at Southern National Motorports Park. Names from Bowman Gray, SMART, and even the NASCAR WHELEN Modified Tour will make up the field, including the defending race winner, of the last five, Matt Hirschman.
Hirchman has won the event five years in a row and will try to make it six. One of the most decerate drivers in Modifieds today has 11 wins in this event, giving him a winning percentage in this event of over 50%.
Other notable names include Bowman Gray track champion Burt Myers and his brother Jason, NASCAR legend Ryan Newman, Luke Baldwin, Carson Loftin and many more from across the country in Tour Type Modified racing.
The green flag is scheduled to fly at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, with Legends, Chargers, Any Cars, and Vintage Modifieds & Sportsman also racing alongside the 75-lap 602 Modified feature and 125-lap Tour-Type Modified main event.
Tickets are available online at snmpark.com as well as at the gate on race day. The race will also be available as a pay-per-view broadcast on Ultra Broadcasting.
