What has been called the ASA STARS National Tour for the past four seasons will be rebranded the ‘CARS STARS Super Tour,’ which released its 2027 schedule on Tuesday morning.
It’s a truly coast-to-coast series now with Kevin Harvick and Tim Huddleston joining Marty Melo as a new ownership trio under the MDM Promotions banner. The series will feature 11 Super Late Model events from Florida to Las Vegas with a stop in Colorado as well.
A total of nine venues are confirmed, with the locations of the October 3 and October 23 events listed as TBAs.
As previously reported by Short Track Scene, the August 10 Battle at Berlin 250 will be co-sanctioned by the CARS STARS Super Tour and UARA.
The 2027 season opens Tuesday, February 16 at New Smyrna Speedway during Florida Speedweeks. The tour then visits Newport Speedway on April 17 before a Memorial Day weekend swing brings competitors to Hickory Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 27, and Tri-County Speedway on Saturday, May 29.
As part of the merger between ASA and CARS Tour West, Colorado National Speedway hosts a combination event with the Spears CARS West Super Tour on June 19 and the final at the Las Vegas Bullring on November 13.
Midwest combination events will take place at Owosso Speedway on July 20 and Slinger Super Speedway on September 11 as Midwest Tour companion events. Remember now that the Midwest Tour is on the same rules package as the other Super Late Model tours under the MDM umbrella.
Every race will air live on the TrackTV platform.
