ASA Southern Super Series at Nashville postponed

Daniel Vining

The ASA Southern Super Series race at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway this weekend has been postponed due to expected rain.

The North-South Super Late Model Challenge was scheduled for this Saturday, July 11. Track officials have monitored the forecast closely all week. Current forecasts show an approximately 80 percent chance of rain on Saturday. With how forecasts have looked all week, officials made the decision to postpone this weekend’s activities.

“Everyone involved wanted to race this weekend,” Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway promoter Bob Sargent said. “We held out hope that the forecast would improve, but with the high probability of rain and strong storms continuing throughout Saturday, we felt it was in everyone’s best interest to make the call now. We appreciate the understanding of our fans, competitors, and partners.”

No makeup date has been announced yet for the event. The track will look at possibilities with their 2026 schedule and provide an update if a rescheduling date becomes available.
