PENSACOLA, FL – Five Flags Speedway officials announced Thursday at 3:00 p.m. CT that all on track activity for Thursday has officially been postponed. The announcement to postpone Pro Truck, Sportsman and Pure Stock activity comes after an earlier announcement that Super and Pro Late Model action would be called off for Thursday.

Rain began falling overnight between Wednesday and Thursday in the Pensacola area, persisting throughout the morning and afternoon and preventing any on track activity from being possible. The track has released an updated schedule for Friday activity following Thursday’s washout.

Super Late Model practice for the Snowball Derby will begin at 10:00 a.m. CT, running for an hour to start the day. 45 minutes of Snowflake practice will follow, as the two rotate throughout the morning. Snowball Derby qualifying is still scheduled for Friday evening, which will be followed by the Derby last chance qualifier. The LCQ was originally scheduled for Saturday but moves to Friday due to an uncertain Saturday forecast.

The Pro Truck, Sportsman and Pure Stock features, all originally scheduled for Thursday, will now run Friday night. The originally scheduled Crown Stock Invitational for Friday has been moved to Monday, joining the Modifieds of Mayhem.

Further updates will be provided throughout the weekend as we have them as the forecast continues to evolve.
