Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch today announced he will return to Five Flags Speedway to compete in the 58th annual Snowball Derby, Dec. 4–7 streamed exclusively on FloRacing. This marks Busch’s third appearance on FloRacing this year following races at Chili Bowl Nationals and the Tulsa Shootout.

Busch, who won his first Tom Dawson Trophy in 2009 and followed it up by winning the 50th Annual Snowball Derby in 2017, will be seeking his third championship in the Super Late Model crown jewel event.

For this year’s race, Busch will drive the No. 51 Lucas Oil–sponsored entry for Bryson Lopez Racing, marking a collaboration with the Georgia-based team for one of short track racing’s most prestigious events.

“It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Pensacola, but I haven’t forgotten how to get around Five Flags,” Busch said. “The Snowball Derby is one of those bucket-list races you always want to win again and again, and I’m fired up to be back with the No. 51 Lucas Oil team and FloRacing. We’re showing up to take that trophy home.”

Danny Stockman, who led Jesse Love and the Richard Childress Racing No. 2 team to a NASCAR Xfinity Series championship in 2025, will serve as Busch’s crew chief for the race.

Busch last competed in the event in 2020, when he finished seventh. Along with his two Snowball Derby victories, he also recorded a third-place finish in 2012, cementing his reputation as one of the event’s most successful modern-era competitors.
