A field of 25 Super Late Models will be at Cordele Motor Speedway for the Protect Your Melon – Buckle Up SpeedFest, and more than 20 Pro Late Models are entered for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 100-lap feature race.
NASCAR Cup Series drivers Chase Elliott and Ross Chastain are just some of the names that will be competing in the race co-sanctioned by the ASA/CRA Super Series and ASA Southern Super Series. Elliott is a three-time winner in the SpeedFest Super Late Model race, while Chastain will jump to the Super Late Model division after finishing second to Stephen Nasse in last year’s Pro Late Model race.
The MASCAR stars will be battling some of the best racers in Super Late Model racing currently, including Bubba Pollard, who has three-straight victories in SpeedFest. Along with a victory in 2016, Pollard won SpeedFest in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Stephen Nasse won last year’s Pro Late Model feature, and will once again enter the Super Late Model portion looking for his first win in the Super Late Model at SpeedFest
Other standouts include two-time Oxford 250 winner Cole Butcher, World Crown 300 winner Michael Hinde, multi-time Super Late Model champion Matt Craig, and many more are also part of the field.
Several drivers will be making their first start in the SpeedFest Super Late Model event, including new names to Late Models and the veterans. Drivers making their SpeedFest Super Late Model debut include Gavan Boschele, Carson Brown, Hudson Bulger, Dylan Fetcho, George Gorham, Harrison Halder, John Holtger, Colby Howard, Chase Pinsonneault, Blaise Rutherford.
The Pro Late Models have 21 cars currently entered for the 100-lap event. Many of those drivers are seeking a first major win in Late Model competition.
Several drivers will be attempting double-duty in both the Super Late Models and Pro Late Models, including Cole Butcher, Michael Hinde, Hudson Bulger and Blaise Rutherford. Along with his World Crown victory last fall, Hinde is a former SpeedFest Pro Late Model winner.
