The field for the 50th Annual Snowball Derby has been set.

Preston Peltier and Bubba Pollard will lead the field to green on Sunday afternoon for the prestigious 300-lap Super Late Model main event.

Over 55 teams from all corners of the continent made their way to Five Flags Speedway in the hopes of adding their names to stock car racing lore alongside the likes of Darrell Waltrip, Donnie Allison, Rick Crawford, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Erik Jones.

The top-30 earned their way in through time trials with Peltier and Pollard leading the way.

Positions 31, 32, 33 and 34 were determined by the last chance race, with 35, 36 and 37 going to provisionals like track points, Southern Super Series points and the most recent winner to not get in on time.

Of note, Pollard is the all-time active wins leader at Five Flags Speedway but has not won the Snowball Derby. Augie Grill, starting third, is a two-time winer of the event. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch won the race back in 2009 and is back, starting 15th. NASCAR notables Harrison Burton, Noah Gragson and Corey LaJoie have all made it into the main event.
