New Smyrna Speedway to host Southern Super Series championship race

The Heart to Hart 100 will now determine the Southern Series champion

The Southern Super Series has acquired a new championship race.

Short Track Scene has learned that the Hart to Heart Super Late Model 100 in October at New Smyrna Speedway will now serve as the season finale.

This year’s race will take place on October 19, 2019.

The Hart to Heart Super Late Model 100 is held every year in October in honor of general manager Kim Brown and those who have lost their lives and our still fighting against Breast Cancer.

And now it will serve as the season-deciding event.

Short Track Scene will have additional information as it becomes available.

Here is the new Southern Super Series schedule, with the addition of the Heart to Hart.

March 29 | Blizzard No. 1 | Five Flags Speedway (FL)
May 4 | North-South Challenge 100 | Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN)

June 21 | Blizzard No. 2 | Five Flags Speedway (FL)
July 6 | Rumble by the River 125 | Montgomery Motor Speedway (AL)
July 19 | Blizzard No. 3 | Five Flags Speedway (FL)
September 21 | Blizzard No. 4 | Five Flags Speedway (FL)
August 10 | Lyle Farms 125 | Watermelon Capital Speedway (GA)
