Cordele Speedfest in January to remain under ASA banner

Speedfest will be a Southern Super Series points race and a CRA Super Series exhibition

Sanctioned

Speedfest at Cordele Motor Speedway will continue to fly under the ASA banner as the season opener for the Southern Super Series and a non-points race for the CRA Super Series on January 17-18.

Speedfest has been sanctioned by the CRA Super Series two decades across three different tracks but at the former Watermelon Capital Speedway since 2012.

“We are extremely proud to be a part of an event that has a history like SpeedFest,” said Track Enterprises President Bob Sargent.  “For race fans, teams, and drivers SpeedFest has become the official start of the season for Super Late and Pro Late Model racing.  We are proud to be a part of that with the ASA brand and Track Enterprises.”

The track was sold to Greg and Lori Noland in January and they have invested heavily into its infrastructure during that time.

“As an organization, we are thrilled to have SpeedFest back again in 2025. We have only had the keys to the facility for a few months and we think everyone who shows up before January is going to be impressed with the work that we have done at Cordele Motor Speedway,” said Track Owner, Greg Noland.  “It’s going to be a great way to kick off our first full season here in 2025.”

The race will also continue to include a 100 lap Pro Late Model race under the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour banner, now in its 16th season across two different tracks, Cordele and Lanier.
