An unfavorable weather forecast has forced the CARS Super Late Model Tour and Southern Super Series to postpone Saturday night’s combination race at Greenville-Pickens Speedway to Sunday afternoon.

With rain beginning to fall at the track early Saturday afternoon and the forecast calling for an 80 percent chance of precipitation in the evening, CARS Tour and SSS officials determined that the best course of action would be to halt on-track activity for the day.

The updated schedule will only consist of the planned 150-lap Super Late Model feature. The supporting features for Four-Cylinders and Renegades have been cancelled.

The grandstands will open at noon tomorrow with one round of practice slated for 1 p.m.. Qualifying will take place at 2:30 p.m. followed by the drop of the green flag at 3:30 p.m..
