New Smyrna adds World Series races for Supers and Pros

In ‘direct response to feedback from Super Late Model and Pro Late Model competitors,’ the World Series of Asphalt will see expanded schedules for both divisions during Speedweeks in February.

The originally released schedule saw both the Supers and Pros set to race on four of the nine nights each compared to five and six respectively last year but the track says ‘competitors request(ed) additional track time and expanded feature events,’ in 2026.

The details are still being ironed out, but Pro Late Models will run six features and Super Late Models will run five features with exact feature lengths still to be determined.

Specifically, the Pro Late Models were set to open their slate on Saturday, February 7 but have now been added to opening night on Friday, February 6. Super Lates were originally scheduled to have an off night on Saturday but have been added to the card alongside the headlining NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour opener but taken off the Super Bowl Sunday card.

Super Late Models will now race on Thursday, February 12.
