Levie Jones aims for Berlin title run in 2024

At just 18 years old, Levie Jones is gearing up for a significant leap in his racing career by committing to a full-time schedule at Berlin Raceway for the upcoming season. This announcement, made last Tuesday by LJR, marks a pivotal moment for Jones, who has been immersed in the racing world since the age of 7. Choosing Berlin Raceway as his battlefield, Jones is ready to tackle the challenges posed by its renowned difficulty.

Having honed his skills in quarter midgets and legend cars, and with three years of super late model racing under his belt, Jones views Berlin Raceway as the ideal venue to test his mettle.

“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to compete at Berlin Raceway this season,” Jones stated, acknowledging the raceway’s fierce competition and passionate fan base as major attractions.

Behind the wheel of the No. 92 car, backed by Kevtron Media and prepped by the VanDoorn Racing Development team, Jones and his team are actively seeking additional partners to support their season, which will be broadcast nationally via FloRacing.

Jeff Striegle, General Manager of Berlin Raceway, expressed enthusiasm about Jones’s decision to join their ranks from over 2,000 miles away in Washington State.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming Levie with open arms. It’s quite special for Berlin Raceway to be the chosen track for a driver making such a long journey,” Striegle said. “Levie’s addition to our already competitive super late model lineup promises to make the 2024 season the most exciting one yet.”

Jones will face his initial challenge on April 20, the kickoff of Berlin Raceway’s 74th season. With a packed schedule of 11 super late model events, including high-profile races like the Money in the Bank 150 and the Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin, Jones is not only aiming for victories but also to carve out his niche within Berlin’s close-knit racing community.
