Josh Berry, Matt Craig earn CARS Tour Throwback 276 poles

The largest fields of the season for both CARS Tour divisions descended upon the foothills of the North Carolina High Country for its signature event with two of the most successful names in short track racing earning pole for the Throwback 276 twin bill at the Hickory Motor Speedway.

Seeking his second CARS Tour Late Model Stock championship, Josh Berry posted a 15.286 over Ryan Repko. A remarkable total of 36 cars will start the race.

Matt Craig set the fastest time of 23 Super Late Models and will line up alongside Bubba Pollard, seeking his fourth CARS victory in four starts. In fact, Pollard has an outside shot at the championship as he is fourth in the standings with two less starts than championship leader Craig.
