Derek Kraus and DMK Racing LLC join the ASA STARS Platinum Program.
The Stratford, Wisconsin native has an impressive racing resume, including multiple wins in the ARCA Menards East and West Series, as well as multiple starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Kraus started out running at short tracks in Wisconsin, where he earned a Midwest Truck Series Championship and a win in the ASA Midwest Tour.
“I’m excited to be part of the ASA STARS National Tour Platinum Program,” said Kraus. “Short-track racing has always been a passion of mine, and this series gives me the chance to compete against some of the best drivers in the country. I’m looking forward to the challenge and can’t wait to get to work with my team.”
The Platinum Program was announced for the 2025 season, replacing the previous Winner’s Circle Program. The program was created to allow drivers and teams to commit to running full time with the series and get their money’s worth. The program, which is valued at $65,000 per team, now has some of the biggest names in the industry committed to a full season.
