Snowflake 100 to pay $10,000 this year

The Pro Late Model portion of Derby week pays more throughout the field too

The Snowflake 100 will pay $,10,000-to-win this December.

The Pro Late Model portion of Snowball Derby weekend, which has generally paid $6000 in recent years, will also get a payout bump alongside its Super Late Model main event counterpart.

As part of a broadcast rights agreement with FloRacing that begins this year, the Snowball Derby winner’s share was increased to $50,000.

In addition to the $10,000 prize, second place for the Snowflake 100 will now pay $5000 and third pays $3000. Start money has been increased to $750.

“The competition for the Pro Late Models has been top-notch ever since they came onto the scene a few years ago,” said Five Flags Speedway pit stewart Steve Stokes. “Sometimes we get to see drivers who will become Snowball Derby regulars or future NASCAR stars. They have to get out there and mix it up with our local drivers and the best in the region whose Snowball Derby is actually on Saturday night. “

Hunter Robbins won the first Pro Late Model Snowflake in 2005 and he was the winner in 2024. He is the fifth driver to win the race more than once. Other drivers who have won the race more than once include Augie Grill and NASCAR Champion Chase Elliott, they each have three wins. Bubba Pollard and Derek Thorn have also won the race twice.
