Roger-Dabbs Challenge returns for 2025

Jason Reasin

The Rogers-Dabbs (Pro Late Model) Challenge will return under a new moniker in 2025.

It will be contested under the Southern Pro Series name. It remains a joint venture between four tracks with two races at each, making an eight race championship within various local track championships. The participating tracks will be Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, Montgomery Motor Speedway, Mobile International Speedway and Five Flags Speedway. A driver’s top seven races will count towards their points total and their worst finish of the eight being dropped.

These races will also count towards the weekly championships for each track.

Alabama’s John Bolen won the Challenge last year, earning a $5,000 paycheck. This year, the top five in the championship will receive payouts.

Roger-Dabbs Chevrolet, based in Brandon, Mississippi, will continue to sponsor the Challenge. They are large supporters of racing and is a leading supplier of GM Crate Engines.

In addition to the four tracks, the Southern Pro Series collaborates with other tracks and sanctioning bodies, including CARS Tour, CARS Tour West, CRA Jegs Tour and others. These groups and other individual tracks are working together to establish a more common rules package and synchronized scheduling.

All races from the Roger-Dabbs Challenge can be viewed live on RacingAmerica. The exact schedule and prize money will be announced at a later date.
