Officials today from Ultra Broadcasting and Mobile International Speedway announced an exclusive streaming partnership for the 2026 season.
Beginning with the season-opening event on March 14, all events at Mobile will be available exclusively to Ultra Broadcasting subscribers. This will also include the recently announced Shredder 200 on October 31, paying $50,000 to the Pro Late Model winner.
Ultra Broadcasting will be entering its second year after a successful debut season broadcasting events at tracks including Showtime Speedway, Florence Motor Speedway, Anderson Motor Speedway and Southern National Motorsports Park.
After successfully producing high-quality events including the Icebreaker and South Carolina 400 at Florence and the Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National, the Ultra Broadcasting footprint will expand with its coverage of the United Auto Racing Alliance (UARA) and Mobile International in 2026.
“Eddie Shoemaker and his staff at Mobile have done a great job preserving racing on the Gulf Coast and we plan to feature Mobile on Ultra and hopefully expose it to a new audience,” said Steve Zacharias, owner of Ultra Broadcasting. “Today’s announcement just shows the growth in Ultra Broadcasting and will give our subscribers even more great short track racing to watch.”
In addition to the UARA Sportsman division, the 2026 season will feature the UARA National Super Late Models and the debut of the UARA Pro Late Models. 2025 UARA National Champion, Michael Atwell, will be looking to defend his title beginning with the season opening Ken Hyatt Memorial 142 at Auburndale Speedway on February 28, 2026, which will pay $20,000 to the winner. The UARA Pro Late Model season begins the following weekend at Auburndale with a 100-lap event.
Mobile International Speedway is a paved, half-mile oval track opened in 1965. NASCAR Hall of Famers Bobby Allison and Red Farmer raced at Mobile often throughout the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80s. Eddie Shoemaker purchased the track in 2024, and it has showcased present-day short track stars like Bubba Pollard and Stephen Nasse and has created homegrown stars like Dustin Smith.
With the addition of the Shredder 200, 2026 looks to be one of the biggest race seasons at Mobile of all time.
“The staff and I are excited about the 2026 season as we continue to work on this ole girl during the offseason,” said Shoemaker. “With the addition of Ultra Broadcasting, our fans that can’t make it to the track can watch an awesome show right from the comfort of their home. We’ve planned an awesome season for both our local racers and ‘the big boys.’ I can’t thank Ultra enough for coming on board.”
