Hoosier Racing Tire announced their 2025 class of Hoosier Heroes at the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Hoosier Hero program came to life in 2022 to recognize those who represent Hoosier’s mission of fueling passion, pride, and success on and off of the race track. Any driver can be nominated for the chance to get featured. In late summer this year, fans submitted their nominations for their 2025 class, which resulted in over 400 entries. An internal review process narrowed it down into 25 finalists. Public fan vote was then opened, along with media and industry voting. Over 13,000 votes were cast, and the winners are as follows.

“We’re thrilled to unveil the Hoosier Hero class of 2025,” said Joerg Burfien, the President and CEO of Hoosier Racing Tire. “Getting to know these racers and witnessing their passion, grit, and determination both on and off the track has been truly inspiring. The excitement around the fan vote added another layer of energy, making the process even more special for us. The Hoosier Hero program is really gaining recognition, and we’re proud to celebrate individuals who drive our sport forward.”
Hoosier also recognizes a Hoosier Hero Legend in addition to the 12-member class. Awarded in conjunction with the Hero program, the Legend honors a member of the racing community who has left a major impact in motorsports.
After an overwhelming public response, Scott Bloomquist won the 2025 Hoosier Hero Legend award. Bloomquist’s impact on racing is undeniable. He has inspired many racers with his innovative spirit and commitment to pushing the boundaries of both performance and charisma. Scott’s daughter, Ariel Bloomquist, accepted the award on behalf of her father.
“Scott Bloomquist was a legendary name in the world of not only dirt racing, but motorsports in general,” said Nic Moncher, head of Marketing for Hoosier Racing Tire. “He was at the forefront for dirt late model racing’s growth and success over the years, as well as played an integral part in helping develop and test Hoosier’s dirt tire lineup. It’s been a privilege to have had Ariel (Bloomquist) here with us this week to honor her father and I look forward to showcasing his legacy for years to come as the 2025 Hoosier Hero Legend.”
The Hoosier Heroes will air on MAVTV GO as a 12-part series. Each episode will highlight different members from the 2025 class.
