NASCAR Modified Tour Spring Sizzler postponed a third time to Saturday

For the third time in a row, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Spring Sizzler 200 has been postponed due to rain.

Having been twice postponed over the past month, and with more rain expected this Friday night, the race has been pushed back a day to Saturday afternoon alongside all five of the track’s weekly divisions. The regularly scheduled weekly program will begin at 1:15 and the NASCAR Modified Tour will race at 4:45 p.m.

The NWMT main event will air on FansChoice.TV.

“We appreciate all of our teams to continue to work with us,” explained Stafford GM Mark Arute. “This weather has been unprecedented and we want to ensure we get the Spring Sizzler in this weekend. With the forecast calling for rain throughout the day and evening on Friday it made the most sense to move the event to Saturday. We apologize for any inconvenience, one thing we can’t control is the weather. Hope to see everyone at the track Saturday.”
