Bryan Narducci held off the SK Light field–and Mother Nature–and won the feature to open the 2019 Stafford Motor Speedway season.
The Colchester, Connecticut native held off Teddy Hodgdon and Noah Korner on a two-lap run to the checkered flag.
The race was lengthened by six caution flags, and by the time the 20-lap race was nearing its conclusion, a drizzle had begun to fall.
“It was raining pretty good the last two restarts,” Narducci said. “I could barely see… [The car] would get in the corner and go straight, and I’m like ‘Good thing I’m clear, because it’s not turning’.”
Luckily for Narducci, he was able to bring home the win.
