Wyatt Miller scores first pavement win at Hickory in Limited Lates

JR Motorsports

The next generation of the Earnhardt legacy has won in a pavement Stock Car.

Wyatt Miller, the great-grandson of Ralph Earnhardt, grandson of Dale Earnhardt, nephew of Dale Jr. and the son of Kelley Earnhardt-Miller and LW Miller won in his second ever pavement start, both of which have come in a Limited Late Model at Hickory Motor Speedway.

After finishing second to Zach Bruenger in the season opener earlier in the month, the pair of contenders were once again at the center of contention. Miller led field to green from pole but immediately gave the lead to Bruenger who led until Lap 32, when his engine expired.

Miller led the rest of the way but Aiden King was able to deliver a square shot to the back bumper out of the corner that the JR Motorsports No. 73 driver held onto.

“We had a really good car,” Miller said in Victory Lane. “I was catching Zach, and then he blew up. I think Aiden tried to rattle my cage, but it didn’t work.”
