UARA Sportsman Invades Citrus County Preview

Daniel Vining

The entry list has been announced for this weekend’s UARA Invades Citrus County event taking place on Saturday, June 27th, with 27 drivers slated to start at the 0.375-mile oval located in Inverness, Florida.

James Seeright aims to build on his momentum at Citrus County after winning at Auburndale in May. Seeright’s win propelled him to just ten points shy of series leader Tim Sozio, who finished in sixth after recovering from contact with Lucas Hinton.

With half of the 2026 season completed, the championship picture isn’t any clearer going into this Saturday. Other than the points lead being nip and tuck between Sozio and Seeright, the top five in the standings are only separated by 46 points, meaning there could be big changes once all is said and done.

In the midst of this title fight, Daniel Webster is coming back to dip his toes in the Sportsman series, with this only being his second start of the season after finishing runner-up to Cody Struble, who captured his maiden win the last time the Sportsman series visited Citrus. Webster is no stranger to success at this venue, as the most recent UARA National winner following the Full Throttle 125 earlier this year, taking the win over Stephen Nasse.
