Sometimes, the second win is the harder one to come by.
But a year after breaking into the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour’s winner’s circle, Kaiden Fisher has that important follow-up under his belt.
Fisher outlasted rookie Jacob “Rowdy” Burns to win last Saturday’s Spring Green 126 at Seekonk Speedway, joining a long list of Tour legends in the 51-year history of the event.
Inclement weather had kept the Vermont-based Tour idle for over a month, and the threat of rain lingered over the “Cement Palace” as the Tour reconvened for its fourth event of 2026. Fisher, Burns, and Seekonk alumnus Ryan Flood won the three heats to set the 26-car grid, with Tanner Woodard taking the pole through ACT’s plus-minus pool.
Jonathan Bouvrette jumped out to the early lead, though Burns was able to dethrone the former Quebec champion on lap 18. The Rhode Island rookie had the field covered as Bouvrette faded through the field, while Fisher worked forward from his fourth-place starting spot.
A flat tire proved to be Bouvrette’s demise, sending the early leader for a spin on lap 39 to bring out the yellow flag. Burns powered away from the field on the restart, seemingly on track for a home-track win with fellow Seekonk graduate Derek Gluchacki directing his team from the pits.
Fisher began to reel in Burns as the leaders carved through lapped traffic. On lap 84, the former Thunder Road International Speedbowl track champion made his move in traffic, taking the lead with a third of the way to go.
Having used his tires up early, and with no more cautions to keep the lead battle tight, Burns could only watch as “the Tropical Storm” pulled away to a 3.164-second advantage by the checkered flag.
Just over a year since his first career Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour win at his own home track, Fisher earned his second Tour win in his fifth visit to the Massachusetts bullring. In his first trip there in 2024, the Shelburne, Vt. native nearly charged to the lead in the closing laps before spinning, making his win at least somewhat redemptive.
Burns, who finished second at Seekonk in 2022 after a late-race battle with D.J. Shaw, matched his career best by holding on for the runner-up spot.
Gabe Brown battled to third after earning back-to-back wins a month ago. The podium finish was icing on the cake for the 2024 ACT champion, whose new Factory 47 setup shop prepared Fisher’s winning ride as well as one for Thunder Road feature winner Brandon Gray two nights prior.
Woodard finished fourth, his best Tour performance since the rain-delayed 2023 running of the Spring Green, while Jimmy Renfrew, Jr. finished fifth.
Heat winner Flood, Jesse Switser, Modified ace Jake Johnson, Rémi Perreault and two-time Haunted Hundred winner Erick Sands rounded out the top ten.

Fisher’s win moves him to third in the standings behind Brown and Johnson, with his three top-ten finishes so far nearly matching his total from 2025. Since finishing 16th in the season opener at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Fisher has finished no worse than sixth, completing every lap so far.
With reigning champion Raphaël Lessard, two-time champ Shaw, Gluchacki and others taking different paths in 2026, Fisher is poised to benefit from the changing of the guard at the top of the standings.
The young racer’s next challenge comes at Star Speedway, a track where his father Jamie earned one of his four career ACT wins back in 2001.
One win at a time, the younger Fisher is finding his way.
