Late Model Stock Roundup (Apr. 30 – May 2)

The past weekend of Late Model Stock racing saw Jacob Borst, Rajah Caruth, Landon Huffman and others all take home checkered flags.

An eventful weekend of Late Model Stock racing saw a first-time winner at South Boston Speedway and Rajah Caruth continue his strong start to the 2021 season.

Here is a recap of all the on-track action over the last couple of days on the East Coast.

South Boston Speedway

Thomas Scott dominated the first half of Saturday night’s 100-lap feature but an accident between him and Trey Crews enabled Jacob Borst to take home his first career Late Model Stock victory.

Tri-County Speedway

A strong field of cars showed up for the two 40-lap features at Tri-County Speedway on Saturday night. Braden Rogers was victorious in the first race while Rajah Caruth won the second only two weeks after sweeping both races at Hickory Motor Speedway.

Connor Hall kicked off Saturday night’s on-track action for Late Model Stocks by winning the first 50-lap feature. Brenden Queen took home the checkered flag in the second event but not before holding off an intense charge from Greg Edwards.

Hickory Motor Speedway

Landon Huffman took advantage of a short, five-car field at Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday evening by sweeping both 40-lap Late Model Stock features.

Nik Williams continued his strong start to the 2021 season at Kingsport Speedway by taking home another victory this past weekend.

Dillon Motor Speedway

Over a dozen Late Model Stocks showed up to Dillon Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the 60-lap Late Model Stock feature, with Averitt Lucas coming away with the checkered flag.
